I have had a VAG inspried idea for the front. Something along the lines of a Mk5 Golf front with the splitter and grilles all made to fit. Obviously not the top grille with the VW emblem though! I was just thinking that a fairly plain smooth bumper from a totally different car would be a bit of a head turner. I think I would have to go for a different bonnet though if I did go for the change...

Try and get the foggies in and working too... Would smooth out the rub strips and make sure it fitted with the Corsa arches.

yep something along them lines, just seems a shame to have the most of the car done to such detail to just put a common front bumper back on, i think wherever it went people would think or ask you, "you changin the front bumper next" cos it will just look medioca (sp) to rest of the car

My front bushes arrived The back ones will be coming this week so I'll pop them in at the weekend to get her back down on her arse...
They went in easy as (no vice required)
Put the suspension back together. Forgot how to do it. Got the Haynes out and it told me to take them to the dealer... Eventually Remembered what I was doing
Gave the gearbox a good seeing to!
Stuck it in place. Took a lot of work because I didn't use a crane, only my pallet barrow which wasn't a lot of use
Wheels on, they look shit hot!
End of a weekends work
I also fitted all the brand new brake lines and fittements to the chassis, bar the last little bits of hard line that go to the master cylinder as I ran out of copper line Only pic I have is of my lovely shiney new disks. Everything was done in black Hammerite, apart from the bits that were powder coated.

They are Cossvaux ones from back in the day. They come with a stainless finish. In fact, I think they are made from stainless. The only problem is, they don't have a balancing weight on them. I don't know if that's a problem or not though as I have only done about 10 miles in the car since it was originally converted
