UPDATE:
30th March 2008
Ok, Firstly I finished off the wiring for the ICE in the Fabia and put the interior back together
Then I claybar'd the Fabia (although in a barn so pics are with flood lights lol)
James brought his 2.1 Valver down to remove the MPS cage prior to its MOT (Needed new seat belts)
Now the good stuff The Van is alive, MOT'd Taxed and tearing up the countryside. It was my first go in it today and it didn't dissapoint
Still plenty left to do, but this is how it is at the moment
And a couple of little Videos of it (Its currently running standard boost)

A steering wheel badge to go with my wheel badges

And finally an Induction Kit to stop it being so boring to drive (it makes no noise what so ever at present ..... well apart from the dagga dagga dagga

I've just been out to have a go at a trick some of the VAG boys do....
I've got a new pair of numberplates, and to give them a different look whilst remaining "fairly" legal im attempting to put tinting film over them (i've seen it on a few Dubs and Audi's and it IMO it looked smart. But we'll see....
This is how far I got anyway
Will take more pics once there on the car so you can pass judgement.

Hi Jules,
Yes it is very tidy! There's lots of pics of it a few pages back... somewhere after page 20 I believe. Will post more pics when I get the chance (its a VR6 Highline by the way)

The Day he brought it
Some winter wheels and some new coilovers
And how she looks now (and some engine work that takes the power over 200bhp)

UPDATE:
6th April 2008
Fabia ICE again im afraid....
Finished fitting the Headunit in nice and neat
And continued with the boot install... (fitting sub)
Where she's going to sit
Started building a frame
Screwed it all together
And created a cutout to get at the Amps
And locked it all in Position... Just a false floor to make and carpet now
The install has lowered the ride height by 4mm So I thought it'd be a good excuse to take some more pics
And this morning before heading off to Donny

A big thankyou to Neil for helping me fix my suspension woes on the calibra last night. When I bought the car it was fitted with -60mm springs and standard dampers To sort the dreadful handling and ride out I bought some Koni dampers, custom rear springs and -70mm front springs off Neil. We fitted the front springs and dampers a while back with the intention of fitting the rears at a later date. Unfortunately the ride height was just too low for an OAP like me.
So I bought myself a set of Eibach springs and finally got round to fitting them with the help of Neil yesterday. I thought they were going to lower it around 35mm but it seems they are a little lower than that, but still higher than the -70mm jobbies!
I'm very pleased to report that the ride is a lot nicer now and the suspension is still firm enough to be enjoyable on the twisties, I can also manage to clear speedhumps now
Also gave the barge a going over with some Colour magic (it was covered in swirls) and some Gold Class Wax. Difficult to capture the shine, but heres a reflection pic
Thanks again to Neil!

What's going on with 'hardboiled egg'
What sort of power do you expect it to be running once done?

No worries Oli Glad she now has a good ride quality for your "old man" aching body Its such a smart Cally for the money you paid for it! Makes me miss mine (
Hardboiled Egg is not doing anything at the moment I've run out of funds because I had to buy this little lot for the Fabia
A Helix Single Mass Flywheel setup to replace the crappy Dual Mass that was slipping. Just picked the car up and the bill totalled...
£1200 That could of brought me a nice cage and seats for the Corsa but hey hoo.... All in good time.
On a plus note the Corsa Van is being Rolling Roaded on Saturday So look out for Pics and Video's of that soooooooon....

UPDATE:
12th April 2008
The Van has been on the rollers today to check the fueling is ok (and to get an idea of the power ) before next weekend's trip to Castle Combe
Off we went
On the rollers
And the Results...
239.2 bhp & 229.6 lb's/ft torque
Not bad considering its running standard boost and hasn't been chipped yet
Power
Torque
Other info
And of course some Video's
Power Run on Rolling Rd
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YDI1zjXdRM
And a quick Flyby so you get an idea of just how loud this thing is I think we'll need a bung in the exhaust for Combe!!!

UPDATE:
Tested the Van today for Noise... 94db at 4000rpm, 1 metre away. RESULT! I thought, it'll pass the Combe noise Regs....
Errrr no. I've just come inside to check the track pass and it states a 100db limit at 4500rpm 1/2 metre away. ASS!!! Will test it again on Tuesday night as my mates taken the sound device away.
Anyway... Pete (106 owner) has just had a Custom Exhaust made up for the Rallye so I thought i'd show you some pics
And he has a nice new steering wheel

(hope they do me a discount on an exhaust for my Fabia now i've given them a free plug )
