Thank you Stu, where is your old one nowadays ? still about hopefully?
Thanks Aron, ah just tidy it up. couple of front end changes and sort the rear out i think. Maybe a touch of smoothing, ideally a full re-spray too but thats if funds allow

thank you Matt
Jamie-c & shaun cheers lads, yep due a few updates but i've been fairly busy with work and sorting things on the motor, rear bumper was bought brand new in primer off a lad on ebay for about £80 posted, we decided to spray it up and see what it would look like colour coded
looked alright but still prefered the factory look with the black plastics so tried my hand at re texturing the top of the bumper as seen above and here
weather is getting better every week so whe bbs's were bolted back on, new front end coming soon once i've finished work on the splitter repair.
also this week i've had to swap sumps due to the old one developing a leak MOT this saturday so we shall see where it all stands and what needs sorting to pass

ever thought of a hidden exhaust? can't help but think the exhaust being hidden would suit that bumper much nicer

Firestate, i've thought about changng the exhaust but think its just going to stay as it is if i'm honest.
Apart from the new front the car shall be staying like this for this year as i'll be saving up for a new car/project towards the end of the year.
As the weather has been good i thought i'd give the corsa a wash, wax and take a few snaps

Thanks Stu, yeah your 5door was lush, sorta convinced me to build another car with a bit more power, wont be doing it in this one tho
And i know what you mean about interest, i love the vauxhall/modified car scene but something keep telling me to save my money
Lilwelsh, Thanks mate appreciate the good feedback. Once my new front bumper is finished this one might well be up for sale

Hey Sean, i am upto a few things yes. New front bumper will be going on tomorrow .. would do it tonight but off out for a meal
also looking into re-shelling the 5door but more may become clear over the next week
Dale, thank you i've been following your project and the attention to detail is outstanding! oh yes get a 5 door built
Thanks Mark always loved your old smoke grey corsa, been one of the major influences for mine
while i'm here, i'll post a couple of progress pics on the new front bumper and a better update with it fitted tomorrow
I bought another Irmscher CDX front valance off my bro after his find in a scrappy and fancied a bit of smoothing. as always quite liked the look.
When doing this sort of work your much better off having things plastic welded, its much much stronger, wont crack, shrink or peel off like layers of fiberglass or filler.
Plastic welded towing eye:
Then the number plate recess
light skim of filler
Primer
hope you like it so far constructive criticism appreciated as always, hopefully have it fitted tomorrow so more photos soon.

New bumper looks mint mate! I too saw a set of CDX covers in the local scrappy last weekend. He's quite expensive though so didn't bother taking them. What are they worth??
