they can, but if they have to skim too much it will weaken it, which then it could bow through heat!

as still havent got my cylinder head back yet, i thought id do a mock up with a spare cylinder head, to check for clearances etc

im pretty sure the alternator will clear the tb's although it will be close

manifold needs grinding as it hits the block, but apart from that



brap brap

need to files holes up slighty to fit

ooooooo

all that effort with this sump, just to fit this!


hopefully get my head back this week, can rebuild it at work, ready to bolt onto block end of next week, build up everything, dial in cams and get in car!

are you using throttel bodies from the 1.6?
or did you just use a diffrent inlet mani?

what engine mounts that on the front of the block??

cause at the mo all i've got is a HUGE one off my air con/power steering lump

cable as using throttle bodies!!

engine mount is a 16v non pas non aircon
