oil journal in turbo collapsed perhaps with being old etc?

fuck knows, what a wank stain. i know it cant be from the engine as i started it up without the oil feed on by accident and its clean oil thats all over the floor

I would just get another standard Turbo. It's gonna be quick enough anyway, save rebuilding of turbos for when you get bored of the power!

Sounds awesome on tickover though, fair play for sticking at it!

wont be getting the standard turbo back on it now everythings made up for this one. would cost me more than a rebuild to get a vxr one again.

Best thing to do is get the turbo sent away for inspection. They'll give you the low down on whether or not its still useable.

going to ring up turbo force at weekend see what they have to say. ill take it to them at weekend see what they can do with it

i do belive i have your original turbo mate and it is up for sale still not been used if you want just u2u me and we can come to some sort of a deal if that is what you are thinking about doing

number 4 piston (standard piston) is supposed to go on them, just to give you the heads up. are you defo coming to combe andy?

edit- not laughing at the piston, laughing at you saying about stuffing it into a tree

i might be coming but it wont be in this car. not a chance now. need to pay for turbo rebuild on top of all the little bits i need to finish the car off plus my rent for my unit. need about another 600 quid yet and thats my months wage plus i need to live off that so its just not going to happen. im fucking gutted well and truly

Had my turbo, redone at turbo force, mate, they sent me pics of turbo before they put it all right, quality work and really helpful, so id recommend them to anyone

yea rang them up about it before. He said its probably because its an old turbo and been stood for a while. 240 ish with vat and its only down the road from me

I expected it to be alot more. I suppose they can't give any form of guarentee with their work? Because you might be running too much boost, blow the Turbo then blame them?

it should be under warranty they dont know what its going on or what its running its on a standard engine as far as they are going to know.
