Yeah found them all very easy. Choice of beams as well - they're all fork type. Silver one has wings and a bonnet which might be useful as well. Nice find.

The silver one also had a straight through stainless system in it. Was my mates old one until the water pump gave way and the rot set in!

I care that they go for loads of money second hand but having already tried and failed to get them off the green car, these just got cut straight away.

Didn't spot that exhaust, not sure if it was still present? Still got two back wheels on though, hence why I didn't use his beam. Might have gone for that if I knew the history

Told him I might have some panels off it though being that its the same colour although he did say he had listed them on Ebay so they might not be available.

Was talking to him the other night and before the headgasket went he fitted a gearbox out of a 1.25 fiesta which he said seemed to liven it up a bit and (Aparantly) fitted a race clutch to it.

Also i did a bit of grafiti on the drivers rear 1/4 panel before it went

I cringe when I see spanners joined like that. I had some like that trying to get the lower arm off my saxo and almost shattered my cheek bone.

I was browsing the pistonheads motorsport section just now looking for some tyres and noticed there is a short ratio diffed puma box on there

Isn't there a limiter for these in 1st gear or something, remove it?

yes there is but you lose the rev counter in first,

also theres a reason for the limiter as it tends to kill the gearbox bearings in first without it

also

how often are you in 1st on a track?

if you really want to disable it though cut the brown wire on the speedo sender on the front of the gearbox

Stes job this morning

Hello big hole

Scrap bin for you

Genuine Ford, should be worth something

Make room for this piece of loveliness

Beam on first though

Busy workshop

Currently got him balanced on some mega high axle stands and it still not enough to get the manifold on, going to take it to my mates with a ramp tomorrow, see if we can get more angle.

good work, i want to do something similar with my beam, its already painted black but did it on the car so not really a proper job, maybe powder coat, hence me trying to source a 2nd hand beam, think it will be easier to do rather then faffing about with my car on axle stands for a few days.

Did you consider changing the bushes on the beam whilst it was on the car they are only a few quid each from ford, need a press to get them in though

did those spacers turn up yet?

Bushes are packed with adhesive sealant that we had in stock, firmed them up fairly well.

No sign of the spacers yet, need to give the dealer a call tomorrow.
