Suarez deals looks like a no go for liverpool as Ajax want £30mil.
Barton wants to finish his career at Newcastle
Still not dead in the water apparently but it's going to need to be done in the next day or two if it's going to happen imo. If we don't do it then at least we know the board won't be held to ransom. Ajax are gonna be left with a very unhappy player if it doesn't!

Olly said he was worth £40m as thats how much survival is worth.

Bent is lethal in the box, look at his movement for his goal on saturday, saw exactly what was most likely to happen, defender went inside, bent stepped out wide and tapped home

Hes worth double figures to Blackpool if Holloway thinks he is key to them staying up.
Obviously to any other club hes only worth about £4m max.
Hes going nowhere unless a club are prepaid to pay massively over the odds for him.

When Liverpool bit £4M Holloway said he wanted a figure in front of that.
I'm bloody hoping he means a 1 lol

the joys of the january transfer window, if I was after him i'd wait till summer, then everyone wins, blackpool will probbly stay up, price will probably be relaxed a bit.
He is a very good player though tbf, worth 5m I reckon. Either way blackpool are going to make a big profit on him

Yeah, he'll go in the summer.
However if Man Utd show an interest it will prompt City into a £24m bid and i think they might accept that

We seem to play better against big teams, city, chelsea, arsenal, then lose to the shit around us, like west ham and wigan. need 6 wins for safety, only managed 5 so far this season though :/ but thats more than some others

Someone posted this on liverpool forum about the suarez 'saga' made me chuckle
This is all turning out like a night chasing some skirt (Sian Massey, I would). You see what looks like a dainty piece. Not world class, but definitely interesting. She makes eyes at you and you spend the night filling her with drink. Now its nearly 2 am, she is still leading you on, your pockets and patience are at an end. You now have to decide; do I stick it out in the hope she's not some prick teasing bitch or do I toss it aside for the clearly drunk but vastly inferior slag who is currently trying to dance with a pillar? Yes, she's not a patch on the minxy kitten who leans over and occasionally pats your thigh by way of encouragement, but your balls will be less weighty by the evenings end, guaranteed.
Its a tough call, it really is. Ultimately you have to wake up and face the music, and even though the tidy little mover is full of promise, you can't be sure her little routine isn't getting you so hot and bothered that you might not be persuading yourself that she is better than she is; has the chase become more important than the catch? And who is to say that the square jawed jock won't have a cracking set when you finally get the duffel coat off her, eh? Of course, you have to think about the message you are sending out to the rest of the club and all the on looking super models. Taking second best now could mean you become stigmatised as the fella who will happily fuck a fatty. Perhaps its best just to head home with your pride still intact and rattle one out over the knuckles and hope for better days. Its a tough call, I would probably plump for option three, but then again I am useless with women.
