Gummi stuff seems to be working alright lee. Had slight wind noise coming through the rear of the drivers window before, and didn't hear it today.

Painted my bumper plates up, just gave them a quick coat of hammerite. Wasn't worth spraying them as they will be getting battered on a daily basis.

Will be fitting them tomorrow though as I need to jack the car up.

Yes mate. 3mm thick. A bloke on a z4 forum got.a template made up and took them to a local fabricators.

My bumper is pretty buggered already but at least these will stop further wear.

Fitted the bumper plates.

Managed to get some free screws and nuts from work to fix them.

True, but as lee said, it prevents more wear.

Front bumper will be getting a respray next year, so they can fix the fangs then.

I couldn't find any in work or b&q. I also have an endless supply of these.

They seem to be doing there job. Scraped twice in a car park and the sound was rather dramatic.

i so want these wheels.

in other news, my new windscreen with top tint has finally been fitted.

took the guy 45 minutes to remove the 2 week old one and fit the new one. he was meant to remove it without breaking it, but that didn't happen

can't fault the guy though, done a brilliant job.

also fitted some wheel arch liner push rivets that fit it to the front bumper, so i no longer have scrubbage and loose arch liner.

Not normally a fan of taking wheels off different models but that looks well.
