Cheers Robin the servo can stay rust coloured for now as I'm fairly sure painting it means removing a lot around that area maybe even the turbo
The wheels are a marmite thing I think. Some angles don't do them justice as well. They're not everyone's thing but I like them a lot. Only other wheels I'd get are 16" Fuchs which are mega money for the sizes I need
[Edited on 02-03-2015 by Darryl H]
I don't dislike them per se, I just think there would be other wheels that would suit the car better. Don't ask me what though, I haven't given it that much thought
Actually, Countach alloys. They'd look awesome lol. Similarish in style to the teledials, but way cooler.
I'm sure they're cheap!

Nice, wasn't too keen on the colour when you first got it but with the wheels and the new bumper it has massively grown on me, also looks top with the 911.

*****UPDATE*****
Well this is an update I've been waiting for!
After the MOT I started having starter motor issues - mainly due to poor starting because the map wasn't 100%.
I whacked on a new started motor:
That did the job a treat!
Then it was time to sort the fuelling. First off I put new fuel lines up the front (forgot to get photos) and put in a new walbro pump rated for 400bhp.
Prior to mapping I needed a Lambda sensor put in (Again no photos) and an air temp sensor for the intercooler pipe work:
After all that was done, I took it off to Tom (Augment Automotive) friday for mapping on saturday. On the way up I experienced a fuel cut... I was unsure why it was doing it but assumed it might be something to do with the new sensors added. Got it to him and he sent me this photo saturday:
Arse. I'd pinched the pipe doing the pump back up.
Luckily he was able to sort it after draining out the full tank of petrol
Then it was put on his rollers:
Unfortunately I don't have a print out of what it produced due to his rollers not reading correctly at the moment so it was more just trying to get the fuelling right and sorting out then boost pressure.
On the whole I'm very happy with the new map, it drives so smooth and the power is a bit more aggressive. Unfortunately the injectors are still hindering the performance so will need to be changed in the future.
I got spotted by a mate on the way home
and here's a quick video of it in action:

Sorry Kieran not seen you'd posted in here! Yeah no readout yet but we're pretty sure it's around the high 200's-300's at the moment. With the next bits it needs it should see 330-350

*****UPDATE*****
So as some of you may know, the car was supposed to be out at Combe last weekend.
Naturally it decided to rain on my parade just before!
The Cam tower decided to piss oil over the manifold
So after some research I found out the Cam out of my old engine and cam tower would be a little upgrade for it. So sunday I set about fitting that after spraying it Gold
I've not got a final photo as it got dark but you get the idea.
The last few evenings I've just been checking up on it and giving it some abuse. All seems ok *touches wood* and the AFR readings are still in spec.

*****UPDATE*****
A little bit of an update.
I treated the car to a boost solenoid so I can run electronic boost using the built in functions in the ECU and also got some Siemens DEKA 60lb injectors to get it running full power.
Naturally before I'd even fitted that the car decided to give me some struggles
After some looking through the ECU log files yesterday we've narrowed it down to a faulty MAP sensor when the engine gets hot. So a quick phone call to Augment Automotive has got me a replacement in the post and the old one sent back for inspection. As always great help from Tom.
Here's a photo of it clean a few weeks ago:
I've also treated it to a custom half cage from the Rollcentre which should arrive in 4-6weeks.
On the whole up to now the car has been great fun. I'm really looking forward to getting these last engine bits on to see the true potential of it Hoping to get it reliable for another trip to the 'ring in September. I'll keep this updated over the next few weeks
