lexmaul say 15-20 but i wouldn't expect that, meant to really improve after 4500rpm though so fuel economy low down should remain the same

well rubbed it down a little more to what i thought was smooth.... and then sprayed it matt black
let it dry and the paint reacted, made the lettering silver so i could see how it looked
so then stripped the paint all the way off
have some heat proof metallic black and will do the lettering silver as above, also got some carb cleaner and a big jubilee clip.

well hours after starting i'm finally done! not a hard job but very fiddly at times. paint went crap in the end but put in on anyway. will sort at a later date
pics are crap, i was frozen and wet but you get the jist, been out in it to make sure everything was ok and it is. pulls much better after 4500rpm.

Although BTB/SBD/Dave A style ones are awesome.
And Supersprint aren't too shabby either.

I have a Pro-Tech on C5 hangs terribly low to the grownd plus i had to chop it to clear the rasp
i would go for a janspeed i think Dave A would be able to sort you out, its a better manifold all round so i have been told !
