lexmaul say 15-20 but i wouldn't expect that, meant to really improve after 4500rpm though so fuel economy low down should remain the same

now rubbed down to a kinda red oxide layer, will finish smoothing it off tomorrow and get some carb cleaner from hellfrauds.

well rubbed it down a little more to what i thought was smooth.... and then sprayed it matt black


let it dry and the paint reacted, made the lettering silver so i could see how it looked


so then stripped the paint all the way off




have some heat proof metallic black and will do the lettering silver as above, also got some carb cleaner and a big jubilee clip.

looking good lee! everytime i look at one of the black corsa possee's progress thread makes me want to keep the 1.4, but im going all citeroeny lol

well hours after starting i'm finally done! not a hard job but very fiddly at times. paint went crap in the end but put in on anyway. will sort at a later date







pics are crap, i was frozen and wet but you get the jist, been out in it to make sure everything was ok and it is. pulls much better after 4500rpm.

Although BTB/SBD/Dave A style ones are awesome.

whats the deal with the SAI, if i remove it will it throw up a fault code? or do i leave something plugged in?

I have a Pro-Tech on C5 hangs terribly low to the grownd plus i had to chop it to clear the rasp

i would go for a janspeed i think Dave A would be able to sort you out, its a better manifold all round so i have been told !
