Why would Lita, DJ Campbell or Phillips join Huddersfield? They're all proven Championship players, why would they drop down a league? If it is any of them then fair play to you, and i'll admit i was wrong, but can't see it tbh

I hate the fucker, I really do - but why should he cancel it?!
Newcaslte knew his injury record when they signed him. Newcastle offered him the stupid money to join them even though they knew he wanted to come back to us. Newcastle knew he always puts England over his club. Newcaslte knew he was a little shite after what he did to us.
So who is to blame?!!

Owen quote:
"There has been a lot of interest from abroad and quite a bit from home as well, but obviously the Premier League is where I feel I belong"
So in other words, on Hull from the PL have come in for him

TBH i'd be shocked if we got them, but i'm not ruling it out.
We managed to sign Pilkington from Stockport and beat of Cardiff & Preston to sign him. We've got Kay from Tanmere an all, and Peterbrough we after him an all. Simpson who has left Coventry to join us as well, so its not far fetched to think any of them would come here.
We've a lot to offer at Huddersfield at the moment, I know fans always say this, but with the players we have brought in so far, if we do get 2 decent strikers we'll be there or there abouts next season.

Not sure, I dont think Id pay more than £12m personally - but with how things are going this summer in general I guess £17m is the asking price for an English player.
