Ryan Babel has agreed to move to Hoffenheim after all and we have had a £12.7m bid for Suarez turned down.
An Ajax spokesperson has said they want a more respectful bid.

Apparently that's been reported wrong and we were offering Babel + £12.7 and they wanted £22m straight cash (25m Euro's) as they are in financial difficulties. I'd expect us to go back with an offer of about £18m and for us to agree somewhere in the middle at £20m. I'd be dissapointed if we didn't close this now tbh.

Massively dissapointed tbh. Wouldn't mind signing Charlie Adam either

You support LIVERPOOL FC
If i supported a team who thinks it deserves CL football i would be furious at signing Charlie Adam.

We signed Paul Konchesky....Signing you would be an improvement and you trip over your own feet off the ball

He's a decent player, probably an 18 month stop gap (or time to step up a level) over someone like Poulsen. If his name was Adaminho everyone would love him

Are you suggesting they should aim higher than a £500k Championship player who didn't make it at Rangers of the SPL?

Maybe you see things more realisticly supporting the club, but I'd want to see strength added i.e. Saurez in place of ngog

TBF you can't really comment on the quality of the player based on the club he is at.
Oxlaide-Chamberlain is as southampton and wenger wants to blow 10million on him

We are trying to sign Suarez Adam would be a step up on Poulsen and would add something we are missing from our midfield at the moment. We're a realistic lot in the main, comes with years of net spend being in the minus
Oh and Nath, that's a silly attitude mate! Should we only buy players who are expensive and many players develop differently and shine in different situations. He's proven (ish) in the premiership which is a better barometer than the SPL for us, the only slight worry is that he's going to be the small fish now.

He's not proven in the prem though, he's scored 4 goals, all penalties, got 4 assists, has fouled more players than anyone else in the blackpool side (although that would fit in with liverpool at the moment) also has more cards than anyone else (7).
Hardly what i'd want to buy if i were dreaming of Europe

He's also had 72 shots from open play without scoring. That worth double figures?

I think Adam is maybe better than some are giving him credit for.
Ignoring the stats (1 in 3 from centre mid for Blackpool) he is a creative force and has dictated the tempo in the big games against Liverpool and Man United.

Good analysis of Adam's game here if you have 10 mins to read it:
