AP's most common colour is red with white writing lol. AP's don't have an OE colour they're all different, and nothing else would match the car really

Graham, ultimately your choice on colour but I think something other then red will break the car up a bit.
Please for the love of god do not attack them with a paint brush. Everything else on your car is to a very high standard. When they are apart for rebuild get them powdercoated.

All the ones I see are red with white writing? Fuck knows. I wanna do em Imola Red with white writing. There's no other colour that would suit IMO?
Seth I'm not attacking them with a paintbrush I am using high temp aerosol to see if I like the colours mostly and it will look better than it does at the moment that's for sure! At the cost of £35 it's worth a go :-)
Brakes don't like being powdercoated do they? From what I was told on another forum anyway as they get too hot

To me, APs are usually grey with yellow writing https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ap%20calipers&sugexp=chrome,mod%3D12&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=C0RLULbNA-eN0AWiyYHIAw&biw=1517&bih=741&sei=DERLUJr5MIa-0QW58YH4CQ

gtf
nothing wrong with brushing paint on calipers.
i only did them like that as i knew i was changing the pads, so didn't matter if it went all over them.
red with white writing seems a good choice graham.

I'd say there's as much of black/yellow as there is red/white

Gotta agree with Steve on this on that red calipers are usually brembos. That what I expect when I see them anyways lol. The grey/black with yellow lettering looks good on APs.

No idea if you've already changed the steering wheel, but I've just come across an alcantara m3 Motorsport steering wheel on eBay. Looks nice

Love the first thing you said writing the OP to this thread too
"Not really going to be much of a project thread as it's already a pretty sorted motor"
Now look at it, you've left nothing untouched
Love it

Did Snetterton on Wednesday, £100 for a BMW Car Club day so couldn't say no really, after a 50 minute briefing, sighting laps didn't start till half 9, open pit lane started at 10, let the usual rush onto track die down, got ready to go out then red flagged due to crash. So didn't get out on track till 11, great start to the day and pretty much summed up how the day was going to go!
It got better but it was a wet start to the day (rain from day before) but with the sun shining through a dry line started to appear and eventually it was as good as dry so it got better. The morning was 'exciting' on R888's that were impossible to warm up, to say the least!
Few of my own photos, unsure if there was a tog and I haven't sorted my videos yet, will get them up in due course!
Pre-Trackday clutch master cylinder replacement, it didn't solve my random crunching/not able to select gear problem, annoying!
Considering I bought these part worn, I don't think they're holding up too badly, awesome tyres!
Awesome fluid
My mates VR6 track car
In the garage
These are the cars we went with, they're winning at life
And an arty iPhone fancy photo editing shot cleaning it for the Trackday, it's been a bit neglected for a while due to more important stuff going on
My best lap of the day from Harry's Laptimer, the sun played havoc with the iPhone but mostly it's ok, Go pro footage will be better.

That's my Trackday season over for the year, didn't get as many in as I'd liked thanks to the engine failure, hopefully next year is better. Got a winter of TLC and improvements to get through first. I have a big list.

Cheers lads
My list is:
Paint AP Brakes
Straighten Exhausts (left side sits down further)
Adjust bootlid lock (never shut right since I took it off to be painted)
Send rear shocks off to KW for recon as O/S is leaking
New side repeaters as one is damp inside
Finish brake ducting
Gearbox out to inspect release bearing/clutch and other components to try and stop my gear change issues, possibly new clutch whilst I'm there although its only 10k miles old
Roll cage being extended to the front. Safety first now after losing my best mate in a car accident.
And that's it I think I need a garage with ramps it'd be we'll easy!

Hello cheeky
Apologies for low resolution pictures, taken from Facebook. Still not finished. And lots of trimming to be done after aswell due to bars now taking priority in tight spaces
