Italy start as favourites, which will only help England.

They are getting all the breaks this tournament, which isn't normally the case.

disallowed goal was offside anyway so not entirely lucky, a combination of bad luck and luck evens out imo

i think quarters is our end game however im more positive about england, this can be built on for the next comp, deffo a better different england from the previous

Worst ever football cliche. Rooney's goal deflected twice before he got near it for a start without the disallowed goal.
