doing near 1750 deposit on a golf r deal, some of the others go well over 2k, its twists and turns though as you generally get cheaper monthly payments with a larger outlay

Yeah, people seem to think that if you put a larger amount down, and hence get cheaper repayments, that you are somehow getting a better deal lol.

Someone on FB yesterday, when I said the fiesta was more expensive than the corsa to buy, replied to get cheaper repayments put a larger deposit down. No shit you are still ending up paying the same amount

9+23, 8k PA, under £350 per month!
£80k car.

Im caught between going to pick this up as soon as the dealer gets it on 17th august, meaning it will be on 15 plate, or wait til sept 1st for it to be a 65 plate!

Will they register it on a 15 that late then? I thought they would make you wait for it as it's their money...

Edit - If you are leasing it I mean. If it's yours and you are buying it and keeping it then it's worth waiting for the new reg too...

Fitted my M performance exhaust today, instant smiles. Sounds awesome IMO and looks decent too. Good thing also is that in comfort setting, can hardly hear it so cruising etc is fine.
