UPDATE:

14th July 2008

Sorry about the delay!!! This has been a while in the making but here's an Update at last.

First off the Fabia went on the MODBALL RALLY (3000 miles around Europe) to see all the pics and full thread click on link below

Shortly afterwards I decided the Torque Link (Engine mount) was on its way out so I brought a Vibra Technics Uprated Jobbie from Jabbasport

Not much difference

And fitted

Gear changes are now noticably smoother with hardly any engine rock.

Now that my fancy Helix Clutch and Flywheel had been on the car for a while I decided to it was time to make the most of them. So off to Stealth Racing it went for a Remap

Net result is lots of Torque and more "Weisel Fumes"

180bhp

315lb's ft Torque

Not bad for essentially just a remap, so I was very happy

Ok, now on to yesterday and a certain silver civic which you might have forgotten about...

This is how we found her last night. The owner (Dan) hadn't worked on her for Months because of his RX7 (which is now off the road) so it was time to finish her off and get it road legal.

We loaded her up and brought her over to my house

Then my Girlfriend turned up in her Corsa which had won a Rosette. lol

On to this morning.... We drove over to THOR RACING

Which had MR2's everywhere!!!

We off loaded

And let them do their thing with the AEM Engine management all morning

At which point it of been rude not to look around

Teg with 450bhp

A certain 650bhp (wheel horsepower) MR2 which used to be black & white and run 9sec 1/4's

600bhp 300ZX

Supra with V8 lump!!!

And back to the Civic (which seems to make rather puny power when you look at the above)

184bhp @ the Wheels (220-230bhp @ Fly)
144lb's ft Torque @ the Wheels (175ish @ fly)

Perfect! exactly what we were expecting from the Mods.

We then took her back home

And took a couple of Vid's so you can hear the noise

That turbo is huge!!! was down stealth saturday just gone, i think your skoda was up on one of the ramps?

Not my Skoda mate, thats another friends VRS thats near identical to mine lol. His Turbo had blown.

I live 2 miles down the road from Stealth in a village called Marton.

Exhaust, Its basically a home fabricated setup consisting of a Greddy Prelude Manifold into a Homemade De-CAT into a 5Zigen centre section followed but a Pure Titanium Rear can (off my Corsa). Hence it doesn't fit perfect yet and knocks

Its the 2.8 V6 but is soon to be replaced with an R32 lump thats been fully prepped.

And the civic will be going through a few bodywork changes once its MOT'd and running spot on. (Nitrous still to be connected up also)
