Nice one, will look good with the smooth bumper. What you doing with the grill? Making it look like a pre 97 grill by any chance?
What happened to the Irmy grill you bought?

Cheers dudes Taken me a fair while to get it how it is at the minute, pretty much just gotta filler it and blend it all in now. Jamie, exactly that de-badged pre 97 grill, trying to get it just like that shop i showed you . That irmy grill, i actually forgot about it tbh, probably stashed away with a load of other spares and stuff i have

make sure when you smooth the filler down you do it at the rite angle to get the dome shape if you know what i mean... check out my thread somewhere around page 6 and someone posted up a white one that had been done wrong...then rite... you'll see what i mean...

Yeah, swage line will be staying, prefer the look than fully smooth. Both of my bumpers i used were PP Sean
And cheers for the concern Jeddy but my dad has all sorts of sanding blocks available, the finished product should be pretty spot on

Cheers Dan and Sean . Bumper tops/arches/skirts and numerous other things will be sprayed up a nice dark graphite with a slight gold pearl when i get everything sorted for spraying. I'll probably run it with the plate in the windscreen until/if i have any bother from the law, although there's quite a few dubs round my way who run no plate at all. If i do get any hassle though i'll probably end up getting a small square plate and fabbing up a bracket to hold it in the corner of the lower grill

Good progress bro, the law is a grey area on plates IMO but as it stands the plate has to be in front of the front wheels, if your being technical. I have had a smoothed bumper for a couple if years and my plate has been on plain show in the windscreen. I was pulled once in gt Yarmouth and the copper was very unsure on the exact rules and regulations but they did say it's better fitted on the bumper due to anpr cameras, which would be needed uf your car was stolen etc. Although I did ask on rules on the height of a numberplate, for example a truck would have it mounted a lot higher than a low small car and they said it wouldn't be affected on anpr.
