But Hart would be my second choice.
I'd prefer Gerrard to stay at home and get some rest

I don't think Gerrard's got all that long left in the national setup anyway Tom If I'm honest, especially with the likes of Wilshere, Cleverley, Rodwell etc coming through.

He'll be their for a while yet, and I'd imagine Capello will appoint him as captain for the Euro's simply for the fact that's how's he's always done it. If there's a new manager coming in after this competition then he'll probably appoint someone new anyway.
As I say, I'd be happy if he didn't play for England ever again though.

Anyone fancy reading these two articles and telling me the media aren't at the very least a little hypocritical (or worse completely f*cking biased to super ingurland captain Terry whilst still maintaining Suarez is the worst human being alive)? You could argue that they were beyond happy to hang draw and quarter Suarez before a 'fair' trial ( ). Jumped up bunch of idiots they are, trying to look all upstanding and moral whilst pretty much making themselves look as ignorant at the England captain in the process.

If its not Man U its the media.... get a grip. Stop pointing the finger at everyone else until you have your own house in order. So the media are hypocritical? So what? This isn't Hillsborough, your club is not innocent in this case like it was in 89 - you have bought much of this negative reaction on yourselves. Your attitude to the whole thing is indicative of your club as a whole
Suarez is guilty of racially abusing Evra
Your club made themselves look silly with the way they handled it
Your manager has encouraged your fans and players to support a man who was guilty of racist abuse
Some of your fans have been caught racially abusing black footballers
Which bit of that isnt correct?
BTW is this purely Slur Alex's fault or what? Note the lack of english sources? Tell you something?

So on his return he kicked Parker in the stomach, eye gouged Parker and appealed for a hand ball when it was him that handled it first.
What a lovely fella he is. And Dalglish is a disgrace/laughing stock still trying to defend Suarez when he was found guilty.

Rooney saying something like that is only causing more trouble. Can see it bring a violent game and violence between the fans afterwards on Saturday.

Every time Patrick ever talks to a Liverpool player, they should claim he is being racist tbh. Complain to the ref constantly. Surround the ref after every tackle evra makes. Teach him and the club a lesson.
