Yup I would be interested if you want bud! seeing that nova project has made me really want to get mine like that haha! Bit I know Simon wants me to paint his nova and another one so for them he's finding a unit and getting all materials!! Also I can get loads of cardboard from work if you want any

I will definately be getting a bigger unit in the future would be great to have it with Chris, we shall see dropped the block at work tonight cleaned te sump up will get pistons fit, block painted and core plugs out Saturday ready for Monday when I fit new core plugs and sump gasket and baffle also got to get the boot ready to be sent off to Chris for moulding

Well im thinking its the way im going to go, private work! Would be great if we could share a unit bud and id defently be up for bud Did you get sump gasket ordered? Fancy sticking mine on the ramp and doing mine too Plan sounds good about boot!

Ordered some bits from autovaux today, 8v sump baffle/gasket, shortened bolts, new core plugs, 4 oil filter for stock oil pump gasket and a few bolts.. Need some more gaskets I forgot to lol painted my block silver tonight, not happy with it so ill be doing it again tomorrow haha

Wasn't happy with the block yesterday so I got the wire wheel on it today and cleaned it up the best I could, it was quite corroded looks ok now.. Also cleaned the pistons up and fit new rings for the first time





Also ordered a few more bits and bobs from autovaux today.

What paint you using on the block Sean?

the best finish I got was with VHT spray but it came off eventually, Shaun had a link somewhere to some great brush on paint that doesn't leave any brush strokes
