Firgured out the majorly over complicated crappy rear drum set up. Bought a new handbrake cable because I got sent the wrong one off of eBay and got the rear axle all re-built so she's back on her feet. Pics to follow

The new rear bushes finally arrived after 3 weeks. Apparently Powerflex are busy at this time of year. Bullshit.
You don't see may cars with a floorpan link this.
Shiney powder coated rear springs got fitted
Fitted the rear hubs and stuff too...
The trouble with cars like this is you have to take so much care when doing something as simple as jacking the car up (masking tape)
Back on her feet finally

ed, where did you get the powder coating done? From what you had done have you got any rough idea of how much a bike frame would cost to be done
Looks great btw, I just want colour

I got the coating done by Spray Blast Engineering in High Wycombe. I paid £70 to have my bike blasted and powder coated a few years back...

Lots of angles on a bike. I did one myself once, took me a few evenings after school to get it done. It came out alright - make sure you use a spray gun though!

Don't think I'll be driving it at all. The insurance on it is going to be monsterous because of the engine, the mods and the agreed value of something rediculous like £15k

No brakes?
Does it even have an engine?

It has wheels, my workshop has a ramp to get into it which is quite steep. There is a fence at the bottom of it. If somone needs some space in there then the cars in there get rolled out the door and pushed into the barn next door or into the stores round the back. With no brakes this would end up with a car fence interface which wouldn't be too good
