Team: Wick fc
Position in League: Mid table
Cup comps: 4th round I think of league cup
Number of goals you scored: 3
Main position: Central midfield
Other positions played: Left back
Thoughts on the team: Promotion should have been secured, not a good season considering the talent we have. Next season should be good.
Personal performance out of 10: 7/10 - Expect to reach double figures next season

My season on the sidelines watching came to a miserable end at the weekend.
Had to win the last game of the season against a mid table side to win the league, a draw would mean we were second on doal difference.
Were 2-1 up until the last 15 mins then they scored 2 quick goals, we pulled one back but only managed to draw 3-3 so season over in second place. (we missed a penalty as well) Gutted.
I managed to get named as a sub but never got on - roll on next season leg is feeling almost back to normal now!!

were you the one that broke your leg mate? Glad to hear it's almost back to normal again, must take some courage to want to play football on it again.
Did you still get promoted? 2nd place is still pretty awesome mate

Yeah that was me mate!!
Tib & Fib, they decided to leave the nail in my leg so can get back to playing as soon as i feel ready!!
Have been training properly since about mid feb.
Really missed it, have been on the sidelines for almost every game this season!! Its so frustrating watching rather than playing!!
We do still get promoted but not the same as winning the league!!
We finished 4th bottom last year as well!!
Looking forward to actually being able to talk about playing next year!!

that pic made me cringe nasty mate. Although on the plus side you do have a shiny leg!!
4th bottom to 2nd in a season is a good effort mate, you and your team should be proud
Shall we start a 2007/2008 thread seperately? or carry it on from this one? I'm more than happy to start one.
