Speaking over the radio to the Brazilian, Massa's race engineer Rob Smedley seems to instruct his driver to make sure that Hamilton lost time behind him.

Smedley said: "Hold Hamilton as much as we can. Destroy his race as much as we can. Come on boy."

Same again in Japan please boys!

And Adrian Newey has said next years Redbull will amaze the teams rivals. I'm a little worried by that, another walk over next year?

The rest of the season should just be renamed as F2 2012 pre-season testing.

Hamilton
Just seems to lurch from one mess straight into another whilst Button goes quietly about his business.

Hamilton wants put down!

Well done JB and Alonso but obvious congratulations to the new double world champion Vettel.

Massa should get Hamilton shot in Brazil!

Looked pretty 50/50 to me.

Hamilton could've given him room but Massa could also have pulled out because the manoeuvre was going nowhere.

Well done JB, knew I should've had a punt on him, he would've had pole but for not getting drive out of last turn.

JB keeps impressing me more and more every race. Hes a different man recently, he seems to always be up the pecking order now while Hamilton is making mistakes.

Well done to Vettel, well deserved this year, his driving has been flawless!

hamilton did nothing wrong though, just had an unfortunate puncture.

with regards to massa hitting him, why was massa on the outside of that turn? theres no where to go there so was looking for a collision.

Bit of a boring race with a foregone conclusion in Vettel taking the title.

Spoils the end now, nothing for anyone to play for, will just turn into even more of a test session than it used to....

Ferrari have already said they'll be experimenting with parts for the new car to gather data.
