Sell one on ebay? Guy not pick it up?

That's what I couldn't be annoyed with, waste of time selling anything that expensive on ebay.

Yes put it on eBay in the end Gumtree = Full of timewasters. Didn't realise eBay had changed the max to £750 (from £400).

Even with £100 profit, I'd be happy not to take that to not have to pay eBay £75 for the privilege.

joined the bandwagon

My 4S started playing up about a month ago, ear peice went, took it apart and replaced that and at the same time the lock / power button gave up, took it apart again the other night to replace and when I put it back together the screen stopped working.

I have always bought sim free but when you calculate what i have spent on sim only tarrif and out right purchase it works out the same as a contract and im not one for swapping around.

Carphone warehouse doing the 64Gb for £59 and a £42 contract over 24 months which works out less than buying outright and sticking with my sim only tariff for 2 years.

Ordered today for delivery tomorrow

Setting > FaceTime and select your number. Remove the tick from your email address.

One minor annoyance about the fingerprint sensor.

Notifications on lock screen, messages, emails etc. If you want to go direct to them you have to swipe. So you swipe, it takes you to the keypad, you then move your finger back down to home button, then sometimes it takes you straight in, others it doesn't.

Should be an option to go to directly to top notification when it unlocks.

You'd get annoyed if that option existed and every time you unlocked and there was a notification you went into a spam email or something you weren't bothered about going into.

Guess it could work for some people.

Yes, seem to unsubscribe from about 10 a day and always use a fake one on websites, no idea where they keep getting it from. In all fairness I've had it years so hardly surprising, don't get anywhere near as many into a 6 month old one.

Sold my 4S to Game for £207. Much easier than messing around on eBay and posting it off to someone!

How you getting on with your leather cover Doug?

I'm taking mine back next time I'm near the shop, already wearing on the corners and it only makes the journey from my pocket to desk/table twice a day. Won't look any good for much longer.

It feels and looks nice but it's just too expensive to already be showing signs of wear after a couple of weeks. I think they knew this before it was released which is why they are calling it patina.

Tbh my leather case is sat on a shelf at home. I have put protectors on front and back so I am enjoying the natural feel of the phone for a bit. I like to chop and change my cases so will probably have a few that I use in rotation. I still like the Apple one and will keep it.

I fancy a carbon fibre one of some description. Any advice on the best one? The slimmer profile the better!

Ive always found the Griffin Reveal Silicone ones to be nice, clear back and a silicone shell thats only 1mm bigger around the phone, protects it but doesnt make it look out of place.

The Apple bumpers for the 4's were nice but apple have not made them for the 5's
