15k is about right for the engine spec to reach 226bhp, but i dont think ill see the gain with fitting a reverse cylinder head, there is other thinks that could be done with that money to get more power IMO

helps get a few more bhp at higher speeds by using the ram air effect
the old touring cars did this with the xe and saw about a 4bhp gain above about 120mph

think the gains will be more to do with the exhaust routing, with less bends there itll flow lots better

after helping jim (black nova) with his dash and loom yesterday i decided to get somewhere with mine.......so...........
fuse boxes are both mounted, all the wiring is ready for taping up, need to pop into work tonight to collect my engine so ill get some supplies then and finish the loom off.
then its just a case of mounting my gauges and wiring them up. and then some warning lights. will get something to sort those out tomorrow from maplins.
pics:
one old fuse box:
what im left to deal with:
cant be bothered doing any more now im hungry! getting there slowly!

a_j the gauges wont fit along the top, it would have been nice to have them at the top tho all the important gauges will be in the main dash display, will do that tomorrow aswell.
robin, what you on about buger pistons?
