Hit a bloody pothole and took out the track rod end. Just paid £60 for full alignment set up as well, hopefully can get it back to the same!

Track rod end replaced,
Feels like I've got the toe set about spot on from going out feeling what it's like coming back adjusting a bit more and so on.
Found a voucher online for a free alignment check at chemix so going to run it down there and have it checked again!

isnt it usuall % increase in power = the same % increase in insurance price?
so 50% more power = 50% more insurance cost?
may be wrng though

New balljoint has fixed the problem
Pot hole has cost me
Track rod end : £12
Ball joint: £10
and I need the geometry setting up again so that's £60
and the wheel is curbed
At least it drives fine, was great to get back in it, especially after 5 days at Le Mans watching all the awesome race cars.

people and their lack of nitrous knowledge, it would have a hard time blowing my engine up whilst it's sitting here on my desk.
Le Mans was beyond awesome, I don't think I'll ever attend PVS again for as long as it clashes with Le Mans!!! I've never been anywhere where the atmosphere is so immense!

Was a birthday present mate so was all expenses paid for me.
I know the ticket entry Thursday to Sunday was £60
Camping is £60 per pitch and we had two.
It was a 1000mile round trip from Wolverhampton.
And there wasn't much else as we took 100 sausages, 30 burgers 15 steaks and 10 disposable BBQs with us.
Ferry would have cost as well.

Update
I haven't had many updates as I've mainly been enjoying driving and sorting out the odd problem mainly left over from the pothole!
But got my other rocker cover painted up yesterday, The manifold heat shield is the same colour now as well but the photos don't show it.
Pictures don't do it justice to be fair, it's very glittery
Going to start work on the standard airbox next as there is a big dirty flat spot at 2K

Update
Well after replacing both ball joints and both track rod ends and stripping almost everything apart for regreasing cleaning etc i took the car to have the geometry set up again
The guy got all everything in camber set to -0.5. Went out for a drive and almost straight away the wheel went at a 20deg angle whilst the car was going straight. Took it back and the toe was out on both sides by 1deg. He redid it, I went back out but the wheel was all over the place again.
Basically the steering rack is buggered
£100 for a new one or......£15 for a manual rack.
Don't know what to go for really.

feel your pain. same issues mine has.
if you need pas, go for a pas one. if it doesnt bother you just get manual and do away with all the pas stuff. if its a daily driver work and back commuter car id keep pas.

Nah it's not, it's the toy to be honest. Can't remember what a manual rack feels like at speed etc.

I had it on my 1.2, I'm just worried I'd be less in control when it over/understeers etc and for quick direction changes etc.
