PVS the update

Well here it is, this is what I have been working towards.

Fresh front bumper, kept the irmscher valance and irmscher splitter but opted for a 'smoother' look by blending them together intona complete one off bumper.
Keeping a little shape on the swage line of the two parts to match the 'ridge' on the rear bumper

New tailgate, semi smoothed with the washer hole also welded over brand new glass and rubbers to make it complete.

Custom rear end, this is the end result of a lot of time and work blending in the wider arches to a genuine irmscher bumper, I've flushed the towing eye and blended in the 2 arch spats to get the shape I wanted.
After much thought about paint, I've decided to go with a 2 tone, Volvo dark grey metallic on top which flows down the back of the arch & the smoke grey in the centre of the bumper. Very pleased with how it looks you almost have to double take, at a glance it looks standard then you notice the wide stance.

Arches, these have all been made to fit the car, the kit and the wheels, had to spend a lot of time to get these fitted right, painted up Volvo dark grey metallic they allow me to neatly tuck the 9j BBS's on the rear & currently 7j up front (although these will be going slightly wider before VBOA)

Audio, finished boot build suede trimmed false floor and seat panel, custom door pods painted up.

Interior, black headlining, grab handles, pillars, door cards etc. mainly all flocked

Laced, custom painted carbon top hat cover.. Just another thing I've been trying out painted up in the same flip paint as the rocker cover the pattern jumps out when caught by the sun

Cheers for the feedback Chris, I really didn't expect to get as many positive comments as it has already as like you say it is different and I've always thought it would be quite a gamble lol still I personally love it

Just thought. The back of your wide arch, I'd have kept it curving toward the bottom of the bumper. Following the shape of the wheel if you get what I mean?

the arches dont look right on the rear regarding the paint, imo it should stop with the rear bumper top swage and the lower half of the rerar of the rear arch be silver

Yeah see what you mean Gav, although its painted up like this as the paint edge flows with the curve of the arch and bumper, it would look odd not following the line of arch imo
Faz, tried it and didn't like it. Much prefer it as its currently painted
