done some to the jag, sprayed the main colour, but this time i cant spray the stuff on the sprues first due to the cammo that i will have to add, so i have loosely assembled the main body of the plane, this isnt stuck together properly just held by small dots of glue at points, all this will have to come apart again after i have sprayed the darker colour of the cammo to fit the cockpit when it arrives
iv found a new technique of using the plastic glue as a filler, and i have used it on the engine intakes ducts and some parts near the bottom edges of the plane, as you can see this has pretty much got rid of the panel gaps in these areas

weathering and panel gap detailing done, was going to wait until id painted on the cammo bits but figured they would be too dark to actually show weathering anyway

Very loosely assembled the main body parts of the Buccaneer, again this all has to come apart when the paint and cammo effect is on to fit the cockpit

the eurofighter, yes, because its delta wing it can carry a large payload, although in practicalilty terms it probably wouldnt, it would just carry what it needs for that particular mission i guess. The weight would hinder its manouravability also
They flew one at farnborough this year with a full load to show what it could still do and it was very impressive

nice update for you, spray paint arrived, so gave the plane a coat of the raf grey
then applied the maskol usuing a brush by hand
let dry then applied the raf green
let that dry then started to peel off the maskol, this was incredibly satisfying
maskol off

Do you start jigging your leg as it takes shape then once complete run around the living room making jet woooshing noises while your dad waves his arms about at you for stepping in front of the TV while countdowns on??
