When I cycled Lands End - John O'Groats last year, I cycled through Wigan & Warrington. My fucking god. What a shit hole. Gave me the kick I needed that day as I was so disgusted I stepped on the gas to get out the other side! I swear in a nuclear blast it would be the only place to survive, like a cockroach.

Read this morning that Andy Carroll might be coming back to us for £10M. As much as I liked him the first time round I really dont think he'd suit our style of play these days and cant help thinking De Jong might be better suited from what I've seen of him.

Why? A few average instead of poor games at the end of the season doesn't make everything ok

His form, you can't deny its a lot better than 12 months ago? I'd rather us play the in form player than loan him out and buy another 21 year old that may have the same problems settling into the club. You can tell he will go back to Newcastle and try to be their next shearer at some point, think he owes us another season though, and his form and confidence will only rise in the meantime.

So clearly that's why Wenger took in Podolski and Giroud asap.
no, he signed them to improve the squad. he wrote in his Eurosport column YESTERDAY that he was desperate to tie him down to a new contract
"And Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi has admitted that Giroud can be considered as a replacment for the Dutchman.
He told le10sport.com: 'Was the recruitment of Giroud made to compensate for his Van Persie’s departure? Yes, we worked to avoid being cornered."

Was probably all part of the plan. I.e. he's signed a new contract, so we want even more money from you now.

Getting the money they are getting for Zlatan, at 30, it would be stupid not to sell them both.
Thiago Silva is quality though.

PSG could be a force and they have a decent manager in charge.
I do think zlatan is over rated. He's good but not that good.

for a start, rubbishy source and hes denied saying that. secondly, easy to work in hindsight. wengers quote was from his official column on eurosport website, but was clearly a tactic to pressure rvp
