Bit of an update on my replica of Kieran's engine

Lash up of my sump,

I got the oxy acetaline out and straightened it the best I could but the inner edge has shrunk so I used a bit of chemical metal...

Etch/primer (done about 5 coats of primer, this was about 2 in)

Shinyyyyy (4 coats of black 4 coats of lacquer)

Head on

Waterpump/alternator bracket

Random pictures

Also stripped all the paint off of my rocker cover and 'I' piece along with a little chemical metal to fill a few small bits and reshape it a little

Need to buy the bolts and o'ring for the oil pick up pipe and also the washers for my head bolts on Monday so hopefully Wednesday it will all be together and timed up
