They are pretty rare Kai Office 'Modia' - Very Very light weight

We'll be doing a swap round of wheels and tyres for next year.

Slicks on bronze Ultralites
R888 set1 on blue Ultralite
R888 set2 on Modia's

here are more pics of the whites

we also still have the standard forged 16" wheels.... that dont fit over the brakes

it can be done on a reasonable budget.... lots of bits can be found at decent prices on Forums etc... and just fit the bits you need to fit. Avoid buy branded tat like HKS when there is a cheaper alternative (if its just as good)

those wheels look great. nothing fancy but if they weigh nothing, they will do the job brilliantly. I assume it makes a huge difference running on the slicks then?

I actually prefer the R888's. I think the slicks are they wrong compound for me/the car.... They are BTCC test tyres, so maybe 'designed' for cars about 1000kg

not really on trackdays....

The slicks will prob get a better laptime when they are in the zone, but I just find that they can go very quickly, and once they are off (too hot etc) the car is squirming all over the place...

The R888's might not offer more overall grip, but they seem to be more more predicable and controlable at the limit.

i find them better than 'normal' road tyres... but you do feel the car aquaplaning in standing water. Best having deep treaded (new) 888's or ones with extra grooves cut. Seen ones with 3 extra grooves cut the with circumference of the tyre

the 'hosepipe' is from the cam breathers to the catch tank.

Autobahn kit was pretty shite, aye. Fitment just wasnt going to work without a lot of altering. I moved my PS reservoir and turbo coolant pipe for front turbo and still couldnt get it to clear the manifold. Pish

Modifying the Injector plugs.....

SARD/DENSO 800cc injectors (lime) - they come with new plugs... but the bloody plugs seem to be upside down, as they wont fit! The whole plug needs to be turned upside down and the locating lugs cut off the injector body. This then allows the plug to fit and secure. Bizzare.

Thats how they are supplied.....

this is what you need to do...
