I really don't understand your want to break into the 11s then taking a passenger down the strip.

only times i had a passenger were the runs from inside the car. all done in the morning. i dont really start to run quicker times till the afternoon so im not really that bothered about carrying the extra weight

was just typing that out

basically last video, all was fine, couldnt get into 2nd, or 3rd or 4th. managed to just ram it into 4th and carry on. thought possibly linkage had slipped or something daft. gets back to the fleet support vectra with the tools. knocked it off. tried all gears. got 1st-6th fine, and reverse. weird. start it up, its not letting it get into gear properly. you can actually put it into gear though, with clutch still in its making a weird noise, let clutch out it drives fine can get it into other gears, but its not like it should be. basically think the release bearing has gone. clutch works fine. gearbox gets all gears fine. £26 for a new one inc vat and delivery. several hours to change it. nice.

bearing must be in pieces for it to do that though. have you tried tightening the cable a bit see if it helps. would sort of prove the idea
