Bump
Right, I want one now
Looking at this one with an 8gb card already supplied:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280647967837&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_3098wt_1139
Will that be ok, or do I want to buy one without a card, then buy a certain memory card that's decent?
Also, is it possible to turn the date stamp off?

The guy I bought mine from isn't selling them any more
You can remove the timestamp with a video editing program called VirtualDub and a plugin for it. Takes ages and creates a massive AVI output file though. Had a 200mb file I was removing the timestamp on and the output file was 25GB

thats because you didnt re-encode it, you saved it with no compression, if you select divx compression in vdub it will probably create a smaller file then you started with
also vdub doesnt really remove the stamp it just kind of blurs it out, so you are left with a random blob of blur at the bottom, so i generally just leave the stamp on there, aids with lap timings anyway

Thanks to the lovely Matt L, I am obtaining his
Now, whats the best memory card please? I read something in here about needing one that can handle the recording speed?
Date stamp isn't too much of an issue if it isn't easy to remove, I just wanted something less fussy looking!

Get the newer version!
My Cousin who had the keyring type in here just replaced his dead one with the following - better picture, easier to mount, easier to operate and still cheap.
Thinking of upgrading mine aswell TBH

looks better, twice the price though, and wouldnt be too good for the ring as it needs to be proper stealth and its too big
