It's ironically a Charlie Adam situation. What he's worth and what the clubs want differ greatly.

Ballague hasn't had any sources in Liverpool since Rafa was in charge. If Torres does want to go then we'll keep him until the summer at least, I doubt it though he seems happy and so long as we start building again I don't see why he won't stay. Chelski are on the decline.

He certainly does know his stuff. That's all that we have been told for 5 years anyway. I think 35-40 million is very fair considering his injuries and his form this season. No way is he worth 60 million when the club henplays for probably won't even be in Europe at all next year.
Will trigger an exodus as well IMO. Reins to leave, kuyt. No point staying somewhere with no team

Who the fuck is Rein's? If you're talking about Reina then I don't think he can make his position much clearer tbh, every time stuff has come out saying he's unhappy, wants a transfer etc he has always come straight out and said he's staying. Kuyt isn't part of our long term future and I wouldn't be that fussed if/when he leaves. All this about Torres is just rumours at the moment, if we sign some players before the window closes that he think will help us push on I reall think he will stay, that's all he's been talking about for the last 18 months 'I love Liverpool, we need top quality players to join so we can challenge' etc.

Anything is possible. Could never see Rooney wanting to leave United but then he comes out and says he wants to go.
One thing though. How can Chelsea go potentially splashing £30-£40M on Torres and £20M+ on Luiz bearing in mind the rule changes regarding only spending what the club makes that will come in to force before too long? They dont make any money as it is and want to get the wage bill down.

£22.8m apparently
Poses the question though is Torres on his way out? not bothered tbh, if he is constantly going to be throwing a strop and not giving his all then we dont need him

His agent is the same as Torres's, they both speak spanish, and will certainly be a good partnership! Can't wait to see them on the pitch together! Plus Liverpool denied the £40M bid from Chelsea earlier...!

If he goes, it'll be to La Liga imo, highly doubt he'd stay in the Premiership.

Going to be some decent names to us I reckon.... really no idea who though!
Heard we should be expecting one 'marquee' signing
Marquee signings generally don't happen in January
Just to bring your attention back to this
Bit of an upgrade on Babel, Suarez and show's our owners are serious.
Deal for Adam is supposedly close too.

Why? Because there's some rumours (mostly attention seeking by Guilleme Ballbag) that he wants to discuss terms? I'm not having that at all, he told us we need to invest, we've just proven we are going to so he'll stay, simples.

There is not one quote to back up the rumours torres has hinted for a move, all media talk which you would expect when a high bid has been placed on the table for him, as stated torres agent is also suarez's to me this speaks volumes,

Be interesting to see how Suarez takes to the Premier League, he looked good at the World Cup. But I still cant see Liverpool muscling any of the current big 4 out.

however much banter stick we get in here i think if you speak personally to the majority of Liverpool fans we know the score, hes the type of player i would to see at Liverpool but i also am under now dissolution that the PL is alot different to the Dutch league.
