It's all shiney and has nice attention to detail, plus the interior is amazing. I really should have taken some pictures of it to demonstrate my point Plus that's not the actual car that I saw ages back and decided that I wanted a really good car, but never mind

what exhaust is it dude, looks like the valve on bm's and ferraris that open up at high revs, makes the exhaust note louder. have a set of a maserati if you want one both sides

It's al Elise exhaust. After looking for VX220 exhausts to make up something that would fit I realised that the Elise one is already dual exit rather than centre so it probably wont need a lot of choppage to get it to fit. Will have to see, they go for pretty cheap and I'll get it powder coated anyway so rust isn't a problem...

Yea, fibreglass is so crap and sinks, that's why JayCarr's front and rear bumpers are falling to bits.
The Midas work didn't sink as it was baked. They just didn't use the materials correctly and therefore most of it cracked.
Also, welding metals is entirely different to welding plastics. Also, the Golf front bumper is made of ABS plastic and the Corsa bumper is made of a polypropylene and polyethylene mix. The two materials wouldn't fuse together very well and therefore a poly urethane adhesive or an isocyanite adhesive would be better than heating the plastic up and melting a rod or two of ABS into the joint. I therefore stand by my technique of making things very strong by using metal or plastic bracket structures to join pieces and using good quality adhesives, then using chopped strand matting and resin to cover gaps and increase rigidity then filling holes with bridging filler. I also make sure that all surfaces are properly keyed with an angle grinder or belt sander. I also know that my bumpers will last a bloody long time.
Oh, and my comments on other bumpers are purely from a design point of view if you couldn't work that one out. There is no way on earth I could replicate the quality of an injection moulded plastic bumper in my shed.
when ur gonna cut to bumpers to fit each other and smooth the 2 together, to do it right ur gonna end up with a lof of filling no matter wot method u use to join the 2.
theres no doutbing plastic welding is the superior method but u cant do it if you cant match the plastics, if the 2 bumpers dont match then u cant weld its that simple. remember bumpers were never really meant for cutting up and joining to each other and plastic welding was meant for repairing cracked bumpers etc.
bonding the bumpers together and f/glass ing the joints will not sink as long as there is a solid base and u havent put half a tin thickness in.
and of course with custom work like this ull never get the quality of a mass produced factory panel like a rieger bumper which is as good as any standard bumper.
I am LOVING the bumper combo now, def was a brilliant decision, plus even better with no splitter and deepedned abit,, gonna be ace
