Looks good. Although the exhaust look very odd to me, and it looks quite wierd without the door moulding.

Jamie, that looks pretty good mate Front wheel still looka funny to me though, although I didn't see it before.
Looks like you got them off a car facing the other way as well, because of the size of the brakes
Definitely your best yet though
Oh yeah (edit ) shading needed on the wheels imo
[Edited on 18-02-2009 by Daveskater]
Never done shading on wheels before, Dont know how to, and yeah your right about the brakes
TheNobleOne It looks like you stole my lights

All you need to do is select a layer that's under the car body (you could use the wheels layer but I usually make a new one) and use a huge black brush with a soft edge (100 or 300 usually do the trick) and put it on away from the wheel so that the "overspray" adds a shadow effect to the wheel. It can take a few tries to get the distance right, but keep hitting undo until you get the hang of it then it'll b easy after that

^^ Also keep the opacity on something fairly low like 10-15% then you can alter it subtly

Cheers Blukoo, I hadn't spotted that when I posted. Will get it sorted
Jonny, thats looking great. Definitely prefer it with the rub strips on the door, and the 'GTI' badge just finishes it off! Very nice

You're blind then. Compare the wheels to the original pic and you'll see theres a fair bit of difference in the dish.

I can see what you've done to the wheels, but if i was going to bother doing that, i'd have made them a lot deeper. Something properly noticable.
What have you done to the side skirt?
And have you not changed those rear lights yet?

WTF!? Has my pic not unploaded properly? Has on my screen!
If it has then you'd see I've chandged the rear lights and it'd be obviousl what I've done to the skirt.

Thats weird how it updated for me but no one else

Wheels don't look flat. I think the centres should be a little darker though, cos they would have less light hitting them.
To be honest, i think the new lights are horrible. I'd stick with that standard ones.

Yeah, I am gonnabe adding a little shadowing to the wheels. I might keep these lights, duno yet, they aren't exactly what I was looking for.
