Judging by the speed in which he took it off I disagree!
Reina will get torn a new one at Emirates.

On another note...I have actually spoken to Cesc Fabregas on the phone before. No bollocks. I'll tell the story if you want?

At the last hotel I worked at in Manchester, we used to have alot of Prem footy teams staying when they were playing NW clubs.
We had Arsenal in a few times and the last time, one of the nights I was Duty Manager and Cesc called down to Reception from his room asking about Sky TV, Reception put him through to my Duty manager phone. When it rings it comes up on the phone who it is - name/room number, so I knew it was Cesc. Nearly didn't bloody answer cos I was quite shocked!
It was pretty awesome looking after the team you support tho.
Arsene Wenger was quite reserved and a bit rude imo. Think he's just very focussed all the time. I was a bit dissapointed when I met him. But he always says thanks when they leave for the game.
I also met Pat Vieira too a couple of days after he signed for City as we did all of the pre match meals for City before home games. He wasn't playing but had just come to meet his new team mates etc. Really quiet chap.
And another funny story...Craig Bellemy always sat on his own for meals.....probably because the rest of the squad couldn't stand him either. I hate him, but he was actually a nice polite guy.
Andrei Ashavin is like a kid...dead fussy with his meals etc, always sulking.
Shaun Wright Phillips always has Dover Sole for pre match meal. He's like his dad too, cocky etc but in a good way.
Maybe I should write a book?
Oh yeah, also, Burnley were like a pub team. All the other Prem teams had very very strict diets etc, healthy, balance of Carbs/Protein etc. Burnley had jugs of Coke on the tables with meals, and just ate in the Restaurant for breakfast and had full fry ups. (All the rest of the teams had private dining facilities etc. which you would expect)
They also all turned up to the hotel in their own cars, nothing special either...Golfs, Astra's etc.

Did you tell Cesc that you are an Arsenal fan? Or did you stick purely to business as it were

Nope, dead professional. Arsenal used to stay at a different hotel in Manchester but the reason they started using us instead was because a staff member asked for an autograph. Wenger went ape and that was it, the hotel lost the business.
It wouldn't have been a prob to tell him I was an Arsenal fan but he'd have probs thought I was a sad act, and wouldn't give a shit.
I had a bit of banter with Arsenal's chef tho and he knew I was a Gooner. He's actually a West Ham fan!
But its in the contract that the staff aren't to approach the team for autographs etc.
I wouldn't be telling you all this now tbh if it wasn't for the fact i've left the industry.
Tbh I could probs write a book on the experiences i've had in hotels.

I can see it now 'Justin Fashanu and me' a factual recollection of poppers, Vaseline and black cocks by Ben J.
