Get a new sump drain bolt ant washer ron! After how meticulous on everything else that looks a little rusty, the car however is absolutely gorgeous, Love all of it! Superb

it is a new one mate , its one of them magnetic ones









new pinch bolts from vauxhall today



then sorted the front brake lines as they were just cabled tied up



fitted the black handels



but the door lock isnt working as im missing the part that goes where my finger is to the catch , anyone got 2 spare ????



got another set of shafts as a spare set



fitted the ebc to the inner wing



and sat the car on the ground, the engine has absolutly no movement in it ha



going to drop it abit more but will sort that when it goes for corner weighing









also rang j at nortec today and its going for the exhaust on the 12th of september said it will take about 2 days for the exhaust and 1 day for the boost pipes

Looks great but there is a small thing that lets the front end down, them boost pipe clip bolts stand out too much.

I would get the other type, ones that tighten up with a nut and make the thread face backward and tighten them up from the rear, if that makes sense

any reason still glass windows in the rear

or is it just a case of getting it going before more weight saving ?

There poly windows all round bud. There just expensive formed bend and boarded edge ones. Fitted how they should be.

If i had seen the the front of that car behind me in my rear view mirror id pull over and let u past straight away

as kieran says they are mate , look just like glass, also orded the final hose i need today from paul at roose motorsport

saw this pic on the last page, balljoint should be inside the tca not above it, I've seen them snap on other people's cars when fitted like how it is now so can be very dangerous if they break at 150mph

I had it inside and Greg and rowland were around and they said it went this way , if it went the other way surley the spacers would of been shorter

I would put them inside and get the spacers machined down a bit, its not worth risking imo

In that pic car is in the air so the tca angle isn't the same as when its on the floor, when you lower the chassis the tcs will sit at an angle facing upwards and putting the balljoint on top will put even more stress on it
