GSI lovers , I'm definitely going to fix it up or else by another one in better condition. Preferably the latter but there rare as rocking horse shit over here.
I doubt I'll get all that done in a day tbh Dan, and as for the exhaust its the system I pulled of the red Corsa, not sure what make it is buts a straight through system, 2.5" bore iirc with a Powerflow back box.
Hopefully have another update tomorrow

Cheers mate, its not a bad thing if it looked like smokey
Fitted the exhaust today and finished off the plumbing as my hose came today thanks to Mr. Alex then we fired it up, we had it ticking over for about 20mins before we realised the fan wasn't kicking in so had to turn off then to let it cool down, also got a slight blow from the exhaust, I just used the original conical gasket which was abit crap which was a mistake as thats where its blowing from but apart from that everything seemed ok , so got a few teething problems to sort but the end is closing in

Fan is sorted, there was nothing wrong with it, I just didn't let it get hot enough , it didn't come on until the temperature gauge was at 100, is that normal or should it come on sooner?

Told you.
Its not very accurate and it depends on the temp of the switch fitted. I'd still change the switch though

IIRC they're supposed to go off at 100, think I read it in the haynes manual

I know you did
I'll see if I can get a lower temp one then, I'd like it to come on a bit sooner than 100 tbh, I don't like seeing the gauge that high

Most come on at 98 and go off at 95.
That is correct temp at the switch.
On 12v's the fan don't come on until a 105 is shown on the dial, and they run at a displayed 100.
The gauges aren't accurate.
