His agent is the same as Torres's, they both speak spanish, and will certainly be a good partnership! Can't wait to see them on the pitch together! Plus Liverpool denied the £40M bid from Chelsea earlier...!
I'm fairly resigned to Torres switching to Chelsea tbh
Why? Because there's some rumours (mostly attention seeking by Guilleme Ballbag) that he wants to discuss terms? I'm not having that at all, he told us we need to invest, we've just proven we are going to so he'll stay, simples.
Looks like the Ballbag does still have his sources.
Chelsea have lost out on Luiz so perhaps they will now put all their efforts in to signing Torres...
A fit and firing Drogba and Torres would be a scary combination

Oh yeah I forgot
This is a bit different to when Rooney and Tevez were being cunts as there were no clubs trying to prise them away. Just depends if Chelsea are willing to offer enough to make Liverpool say yes! And they will be back in the summer if they dont get him now.

I'm getting sick of Spurs going after him.
Yes, it's a lot of money which we could do with and would be useful for bolstering the squad but we need him.
I really am hoping he stays, and i think he will. Signed a new long contract and a few months ago and is a gateshead boy.

Reminds me much more of the recent Rooney & Tevez saga's, give it a couple of days he will have a new contract worth a stupidly inflated wage.
IF i was a Liverpool fan i would say take the money and let him go, he simply isn't performing well, he was injured nearly as much as Michael Owen last season and is seemingly petulant, I am sure you could buy a Very decent player with the £35m you would receive from his transfer, i mean you might nearly have enough to purchase Charlie Adam...
The thing is, he was getting rushed back to fitness as they didn't have any other striker of ANY quality so that must have been mentally draining for him. He'd come back early, get injured, then it would start all over again. With that 35m they could get someone like Aguero to take his place so it isn't the end of the world. But a fully fit and in form Torres is unplayable.

What in the name of fuck I like Carrol. I love his old fashioned style of play, but £23m? Bit ambitious this early into his PL career

I desperately want Carroll to stay but for that sort of money I'd be tempted especially if the Chairman made it all available for new signings

Apparently Forlan can leave for £9m. If Liverpool get Suarez, then £9m is worth a punt on Forlan for the partnership alone Then they've got £30m to bolster that god awful defence and get another midfielder, like Chick Adam!

also heard that chelsea might offer sturridge in swap and cash for torress, I think he's got a good future, so wouldn't be a bad deal at all for them!
Suarez and Forlan would be interesting to watch in the prem! But 9m for a 31yr old who failed last time in the prem is a big risk

I'm surprised Chelsea want to let Sturridge go. He looks quite decent!

He's never worth that, he's worth half that at most, he has half a season's experience in the premiership and the guy is a dipstick, considering torres may go for just £5m more than that figure, and you can't sayhe is anywhere near as good as him.

Yeah, I really hope we get him, not sure on Demba Ba, whether he's actually any good or not, but Keane is a proven decent Premiership player, and could prove the difference. Shame our defence is still awful and they don't seem to be thinking about strengthening it

He always supported West ham, and Liverpool, and Celtic, and Wolves
