If Aston Villa get 25 million pounds for him I for one won't be surprised. Is he worth that amount? Not for me to say exactly. But judging by signings and prices for the likes of James Milner, Henderson, Carroll etc, I'd say given his age, what he did last season in not a great side, the price of Benteke isn't too bad all considering.
Chicarito, £6m
Yeah but he was a South American unknown, ergo the price.

Because they were transfers where clubs were held to ransom for above average players.
If they hold Chelsea to ransom, then fair enough, but in reality its probably going to be 12-15m.

Supposedly we are in for Fani. FFS. A fast winger. Just what we need.

Because both clubs are fucking idiots. Everyone is a bargain compared to what they pay.

£12 million for a 22 year old striker who scored 19 league goals in a poor side? Come on. Even £15 million is absurd. Clearly isn't going to happen.
Must have 2 years easily left on his contract, also?
If he leaves it's going to be around £20-£25 million.

I think Benteke is worth 25 mil, he ripped it up last season, he's got the makings of a legend. Some of the goals he scored from nothing were sheer class. the risk with him for me would be attitude if he gets a big pay deal but that is always a risk for any player.

Young guy ripping up the EPL for a poor team, touted as the next big thing and moving for big money. Sounds a bit like Franny Jeffers.

Do you mean Fanni? He's a right back? The fact he's 30 is what makes that strange for me.

Ah Nani on form is actually a very very good player. Excellent with both feet and can turn teams inside out. A Nani who is out of form is an infuriating little cunt.

Seen the same reports, but to counter it have also seen a few reports saying he's snubbed munich for united. Really hope we get him, I think he will have the best opportunity to grow at united. Rose tinted glasses aside, I can see him saying no to us and ending up at Munich, if anywhere

Can't see him coming to us now. Played under Guardiola before and he's probably never heard of David Moyes tbh
