its an sbd one without sbd on it made by the same people, dave got one and passed it on to me at an extremely good price.
was building the head up the other night but decided to change some of it, going for bronze guides now and some more porting work to match the exhaust manifold.....
delayed it a bit more but hay ho!

Those manifolds rock
Let me know on the guides, are you gonna have them cut back on the inlet? The new cams look super cool What rods do you have in yours? I've seen some available on Egay for sub £400 IIRC cos SBD want ridiculous money for them

i had some cheap ones off ebay, then as its going to rev silly amounts i spent some money and bought another set thats proven to 11k rpm cost me a bit but worth it IMO, cheaper than sbd tho
i can get the cheaper ones for £300 + postage i think

just to confirm, the manifold Broster has is an SBD one, we make a manifold that is very similar, the one on my car is one of my own ones. does the same job but is £270 rather than the £450+ that SBD want.

Mark, sorry to tell you this, but your car sounded shit.
Apparently you should have bought an EK9 Civic Type R because they have 198BHB (I don't know what one is either) standard, and then started modding it, dumb ass.
Apparently, anyway.
