Fuel pump priming sounds
What are the rules for doping? does it have to be pure petrol?

a wee bit of text on the hows and whys of the fuel system
I'm using a 280lph in tank 'feeder' pump. This is complete overkill but will keep the swirl pot full at all times hopefully. (pumps flow much more when NOT under pressure).
This pump feeds the 2l swirl pot/ surge tank via -6 braided line.
I then have two Bosch 910 pumps running in parralel, feeding either end of a twin entry fuel rail (to try and equalise the flow to all injectors)
The return line runs from the centre of the rail via FPR (hks) back to the Swirl Pot through the fuel filter.
Running pumps in parallel increase flow
Running pumps in series will also increase flow/pressure.
The bosch 910's are rated to about 450bhp EACH.... My fuel system is rated to around 900bhp.

Bosch 044 info - http://www.justenginemanagement.com/bosch044.htm
This Bosch 660hp pump is a Bosch Motorsport fuel pump. This is a K-Jetronic style pump and doesnt mind pumping at much higher than normal fuel pressures. Approx 270L per hour flow rate at 3 bar fuel pressure. More methanol tolerant than most other EFI pumps.
Bosch 910 info - http://www.justenginemanagement.com/bosch910.htm
This pump is rated at 430hp at the wheels(320kw atw), if your planning to go over 300kw than we suggest the bosch 044 pump.
It is a Bosch K-jetronic pump and will reliably pump at higher than normal pressures. It has a slightly unusual 13.5mm inlet that is just a little bigger than the normal 1/2 inch inlets of most external pumps. It has a threaded outlet like the Bosch motorsport pump and represents great value for money.

25th April at Oulton.
We'll prob be down there from Thurs
I cant wait to give it a wee shot with all the weight lost and extra power. Hopefully it'll look a bit better this year too.
So many things i'd like to do though..... but it just costs so feckin much
We need a new or refurbed rear diff.
I'd like to swap the 700lb springs for stiffer ones, esp at the front
We need a lot more adjustment in castor/camber for the fronts.
Those three will hopefully be done at somepoint this year

fashioned a bodywork puller out of a big bolt, some bracket as a flat spreader and a steering wheel lock
Bashed the rest.
Just cut out the lower sections to help get leverage too.
filled then sanded.
Its ot perfect but it'll do for a short while till we get the wide arches sorted out and all the crumpled pish cut out hehe
