UPDATE:
27th Feb 2009
Sorry about the delay people. Have been rather busy.
To start off with i've brought a Fibreglass Tailgate for the Corsa
Next the Fabia went on the rollers a few weeks ago for its remap and made 200.8bhp... But it was leaking boost so i've just brought a pipe to replace the dodgey connection that was leaking
Old connection
New Connection
A few weeks ago I went to the Pod with some mates (whilst leaking boost) and got a 15sec dead @ 94mph
Mates Focus RS ran a 14.5 with slipping clutch (270bhp)
Now to Dan's RX7 which if your remember had its engine removed not long ago for some work
Here's some nice shiney Engine bits ready for Porting
And a nice new Clutch and Flywheel
The Fabia is back on the Rollers tomorrow for final Mapping tweeks so i'll let you know how it gets on.

UPDATE:
1st March
Firstly a few more pics of the Bora... Its now in its running in stage and it already sounds Fantastic!!!
And onto the Fabia
The bottom line is what she made with just a remap last time round (179bhp)
The middle line is as I drove it in (200bhp)
The Top line is now the power its at (213bhp)
And more importantly the Torque
With just a remap (315lbs ft)
As I drove it in (324lbs ft)
And now (360lbs ft)
It drives so much like a petrol now its fantastic! And still returns nearly 50mpg when cruising.
The only downside is it does smoke a fair bit
Neil

5krpm rev limit
Stop wasting money on the daily driver and get the Corsa done, not to mention the Nova FFS

Passenger rides have already been taken by the missus and 2 other mates. but if one of them doesn't turn up of course you can jump in mate
Had the Airbag light switched off when it was being mapped

UPDATE:
26th March 2009
I'll start with Dan's RX7.
The Engine is now back from the Engine builder where it was fully rebuilt and Ported
(These Rotary's just don't look like engines to me. lol)
Dan has also fitted his new 8 POT K-Sport brakes
Before:
After:
And finally, he's fitted more Defi Gauges... He won't be able to see where he's going soon
Onto the Fabia...
I've had some brakes sitting around for a while (312mm off my mates 2.8 Bora, which are the same that are found on Audi TT Quattro's & Octavia VRS's to name 2 others).
They are quite a common upgrade for Fabia's, Golf's, Ibiza's etc that come with 288mm as standard on most models as they are just "bolt on"
But me being a lazy ass has only just got hold of some TT Brake hoses which I needed to fit them with so not to stretch the standard hose.
How I got them
Some brake cleaner then some Hammerite later...
Then add some EBC Discs & Ferodo DS2500 Pads into the mix
Plus the TT Brakes Hoses
The 288mm's that served me ok, but struggle with the new power increase
312mm v 288mm
Fitting
Fill the wheel a bit better
I have now bedded them in and can confirm it is a truely fantastic upgrade over the standard setup!!! You get the same "feel" but way more stopping power.
Last weekend I took the opportunity to give her a spring clean inside & out so yet agian an excuse for more pictures. lol
And last week myself & the missus travelled down to Brands Hatch from Derby to do a couple of sessions (1 a piece). Now for the sad part... The trip down there we averaged 53mpg... 40mins on track & the average was down to 43mpg then the drive home got the overall average back up to 46mpg I have to admit Diesel's really are fantastic at times The whole journey including going on track (380miles) cost us a little over £30 in fuel
Anyway...Pics!
Thats the rear tyre by the way... lol, the back was sliding about nicely with the Rear ARB set on its hardest setting
