haha well the boot and bumper are on I've got to reattach a couple of clips to my back arches though so I can get the bumper to sit properly as its hanging down a bit at the min. I'll get some pics asap. It looks so good though

Sorry they are a bit late guys. Quite a bit of progress made though

The first thing I did once the engine was out was to start removing the rest of the stuff from the bay. I took out both the rad + fan and steering rage so that I could give the bay a damn good clean!

These are a bin job! the fan never worked anyway and the radiator is fudged lol

Now onto the cleaning It was bloody filthy! I gave it a good spray with some Gunk and worked it in with a soft brush

After a good hose down I was left with this Soo much better!

I've tried a small area with some t-cut and its coming up great! Just got to do the rest of it. There is some surface rust which will be treated and resprayed.

One thing I've always hated about the corsa was that it didnt have powersteering. Its fine when you're on the move but its really heavy trying to park. I noticed taylor2008 off here was selling a power steering set up so I snapped it up Great seller btw!

Next update is one of my fav's, Roose Silicone hoses! My parents bought me them for my birthday the other day. I've just gone for the coolant and breather hose sets as i thought it might be a bit ott with the Ancillary ones as well

Finally a few pics of how the back end stands. I've now fitted the new semi-smooth tailgate and irmscher bumper. Forgot to put the crash bar back on though so its got to come off Im not 100% happy with it at the minute. The bumper doesnt line up right with the bottom of the boot. So some more tweaking is needed to get it spot on. I think I may have pulled the rear panel out slightly too far as I think the boot sits slightly too far back. It hard to remember how it was before though lol so I need to have a look at some others in the flesh

you can sorta see what im on about here. the gap is a bit too big i think

Just realised I've missed something I've changed the cambelt on it as well. The one that was on it didnt look very old at all but I thought it was better to be safe than sorry
