yeah seems an extremely well made bit of flywheel.

shame about the clutch. added expense i could have done without. near 30k its done though and had an extremely hard life so i cant complain too much.

was getting a bit worried today that clutch plate etc wasnt going to turn up. but it did. at precisely approximately 16:55 hours in the pm. picked it up after work and went to my mate feets house for some lovely pasta his wife had cooked. we then set off to attack it.

lovely new far too expensive pressure plate.

halfords socket clutch alignment tool in use

clutch fitted and that. then fitted the gearbox, oh and a new release bearing seen as i had bought it.

fitted the front anti roll bar back on just to try it again.

then fitted the front strut brace back on. cant make it out too well as its black but it is there honest.

then filled it with oil, filled the gearbox oil up seen as it had been drained. set the gears up the old 2 person method. then started it up, currently leak free. nice. all gears again, no nasty noises etc. just need to put the bumper back on then can take it for some proper ass kicking again. rumoured to be a 1/4 mile weekend on the local air field up here in a couple of weeks. see how it gets on.

i really should go get some sleep. bye.
