todays job was to sort the clutch out as the pedal was way to high , the cable i have been using is from a 1.4 so i went and bought 1.0 one, these pics show the diffrneces between the two
1.0 on the right
turns out i was using the 1.4 cable in the 1.0 pedal, didnt know there were two diffrent pedals
1.0 pedal
1.4 pedal
so ended up changing the pedal to fit the cable and also bought a spare clutch cable

I run my ball joint on top of the bottom arm, never had no problem. just make sure the spacers fit tight in the gap in the bottom arm so it doesnt squash when tightening. it also gives more clearence for anti roll bar.
