Horrible timing that With Moyes saying that Rooney is looking fitter than he has for years, it may be an indication that the hunger is back in his game. But that might just be Moyes talking nonsense

I don't care what anyone says about his ability; he is one of the most technically gifted players in football; and I'd say the most gifted Englishman.

Anyone else think Wanyama is a seriously awesome signing for Southampton? Amazing bit of business. He could be on the move again if he has a good season or two!

Hope so we have a hefty sell on clause.

It's a good bit of business for everyone, we received a massive fee for an SPL player, Southampton get a guy that is destined for the top and Vic himself gets to play in the EPL.

He'll be at a top 4 club in one of the top leagues within a couple of seasons, there are very few young holding midfielders I can recall as good as he is.
