19 in 39 (9subs bench apps) and 10 assists, isn't as bad as you make out.
I can think of out and out strikers who have a worse record, who get more credit for some reason. He averages a goal everyone 2.053 games for Man Utd.

14 in League 2 in FA Cup, 3 in CL. made 30 starts, they are stats usually matched with a player who's been there a few years.

Thats a lot better than I thought to be fair :/
Still don't think Rooney/Tevez with no Ronaldo is going to produce enough goals next season mind

Probably not, but I don't think even Ronaldo will replicate the season he's had, defences are going to do a 'Germany' on him from now on.

Rooney and Tevez are both good as second forwards, as they work a lot for the team and chip in with atleast 15 goals a season. Together they dont score enough to be the front two in a Prem and CL winning side - unless you have a winger scoring 40+ a season which wont always happen.

The Sun claims I'm being scouted by Man Utd aswell, £2.53 and a bag of chipsticks, limited appearances though or the transfer fee goes over a fiver.

I have disowned the 10 shirt, can't be bothered to change the screen name, my squad numbers in the academies I went to were 37,7,21 and 23, I just liked 10 at the time.

Future ENGLAND prospect Paul Anderson tied down to a new deal until 2011. Will be on laon with Notts Forest next season too which should be great experience for him.

Ive probably seen as much as Barry as you have (seeing as neither of us are Villa fans!), and a hell of a lot more of Alonso
Barry is more mobile, but his passing, awareness, defending and general footballing brain is not up there with Alonso IMO.

I'm a fan of both, Alonso is far more clever with his distribution and vision but Barry keeps things neat and tidy. Depends what system you're playing i suppose but if Gerrard is championing wanting Barry in beside him having played with him at international level he must have his reasons!

We have Masch to keep things neat and tidy, what we need is the playmaker in the middle to pass the ball all over the pitch and control things - which allows Gerrard to do what he does best.
