Few random stories floating about this morning
Nolan to West Ham for £3m, can't see him wanting to move back to the championship after saying he wants to finish his career at Newcastle
We're apparently after Romaric from Sevilla. Looks like we're just trying to assemble 1/2 the Ivory coast team
And lastly Enrique to Barca. I know he's had a good season but really?!

Is Phil Jones any good then? As United are supposedly favourites to sign him. For £16m

He looks promising. My mate (Rovers fan) raves about him and said half way through the season United or the likes will be after him in the summer.
But £16m is a lot on someone who looks promising

you really are an unbeleivable cunt
All the players you buy only look promising and aren't proven in the PL so what the fuck are you talking about.

There's baiting and there's just being an utter cunt
In serious news, we've signed mighty mighty Carl Jenkinson (half English/half Finnish) from Charlton Athletic

I want this to happen much more than Henderson but I think he'll go to united. He's the most promising young, englush defender in a LONG time imo.

BTW i'll be very happy if get Wickham OJC I think it's very likely given the fact he's a boyhood red and with Ngog going he'd be the 3rd choice proper front man (behind Carroll and Kuyt) with plenty of time to develop. He looks to have alot of strength and decent decision making, we'll need to develop his finishing a bit though.
I'm so pleased we threw Ngog into the Henderson deal, makes the above possible and softens to blow a bit for the 'young/english/potential' tax we're paying on him.
I'm all for us buying young talent though, if a couple of these realise their potential it could be excellent value for money in the long run (sell on fee's or pure service to the club).

tbf I think he would come to us over United because, and it pains me to say this, their defence is top drawer and can't see where he would fit in. Maybe in a few years when Rio and the likes retire or become bit part players but Smalling has shown he is a remarkable defender in their place.
