Listening earlier they reckon you should be picking an early starter, and obviously the rough is unplayable, so need a straight hitter, and a decent putter. Which rules out Westwood for me.

I'll have some ew on Lawrie, was hoping GYTO would fund my golf bets, but they haven't done well yesterday or today so far...

Westwood only has to putt averagely and he'll be in contention. He will hit the fairway more than anyone else imo. If he strikes the ball like he did a few weeks ago when winning he'll boss it.

I've not even considered Donald as he's not straight enough of the tee.

I might go for a new method this year. Just stick tenner a time on favourites, Chelsea, United, City, Barca, Real for example (depending on who they are playing, if they are at home etc) and just let the coffer build up slowly.

See if that works. Figure it will be better to (hopefully) win little and often than have the one or two half decent wins come in over a season and throw a tenner away each week on ridiculous accumulators
